Rockhounders of the Western States are facing more obstacles to pursuing our hobby, from the politics to the business ventures who would benefit from taking over large swaths of the Mojave desert and other national parks and monuments. 

We believe in the freedom to pursue happiness, and rockhounding makes thousands of us happy!

ALAA, the American Lands Access Association, is the organization that lobbies on behalf of mineral and rock hobbyists everywhere.
